Shopping in Hong Kong

Hong Kong is one of the world’s shopping hubs and those living in Hong Kong will have a world-class experience in every kind of shopping, from uber-high-end shopping at causeway bay to street markets on Kowloon, to colossal outlet malls on Lantau Island. Goods Tax has been removed from Electronics and Luxury Products, making shopping life in Hong Kong great.

Shopping in Kowloon

Tsim Sha Tsui (TST) on Kowloon one of Hong Kong’s centres for shopping and recreation. There is a full range of shops and brands here, from Zara and G2000, to Prada and Hermes.

Harbour City (Canton Road) stretches from the Star Ferry Terminal in the south to China Hong Kong City in the north and is the largest multipurpose shopping mall in Hong Kong. The shopping giant is divided into five key areas: Marco Polo Hong Kong Hotel, Ocean Terminal, Ocean Center, the Gateway, and the Pacific Club Kowloon. Harbour City contains hundreds of world-famous boutiques, including as Louis Vuitton, Salvatore Ferragamo, Prada, Yves Saint Laurent, Polo Ralph Lauren, Versace, Burberry, and Hugo Boss.

Elements (1 Austen Road West) contains an ice rink, the biggest cinema in Hong Kong and a host of high-end designer brands. Elements also has the unique function of providing the option to check in for your flight out of Hong Kong International airport.

Shopping in Central, Amirality & Soho

Central is not only the business and economic centre of Hong Kong, but is also a shopping hub within Hong Kong. Top boutique shops and large shopping malls can also be found in this district. The Landmark Square (15 Queens Road Central) and Pacific Place (88 Queensway) mainly sell high quality brands and boutique fashion products including LV, Channel, Tiffany, D&G and Levin.

Shopping at Causeway Bay

Along with having the historic Victoria Park and the racecourse, Causeway Bay is also a shopping hub in Hong Kong. Time Square in the west of Causeway Bay. Most shops in Causeway Bay open at 11:00-12:00 and close at 10:00-11:00 at night.

Other shopping havens for those living in Hong Kong include Citygate Outlets (Tung Chung MTR station) which is based out on Lantau Island. It is the largest outlet mall in Hong Kong and can be a pleasant addition to a day out to the Islands. It features more than 80 international brand names that offer year-round discounts of 30 to 70 per cent. Shop categories include designer fashion, electronics, accessories, sports, children’s wear, beauty and home accessories.

There’s also dozens of restaurants and entertainment facilities, such as the UA Citygate cinemas and a SPA by MTM. The Square is specially designed with an outdoor dining space located right next to one of the Asia’s largest outdoor kinetic fountains for you to relax after a day of shopping.
